The Priory Coach House
Norton Priory, formerly The Old Rectory, is one of the oldest and most interesting historic buildings in the Parish of Selsey.
In October 2022 we divided our home to make two separate houses and created The Priory Coach House as a holiday home.
…We are tucked away at the end of a long lane 6 miles south of Chichester in the Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve… and our special secret is a private path that leads from the Coach House gardens to the Harbour and onto the Beach which is about 5 mins walk.
To the Beach
The only other access to the Beach is a small car park by the gates of Norton Priory. “Our” beach is always deserted and especially out of season, you are more than likely to have the stretch of the coastline all to yourselves.
It is a stoney beach but at low tide there are pockets of sand and you can walk out. At high tide and most times in between it is safe to swim and the water is amazing.
